She has trained on child rights and the rights of women on property inheritance. Caroline is conversant with issues on marriage counseling. She easily works with the children and the women from Obunga slums. She is kind and smiles easily.
Cornila Obare - Volunteer
Cornila Obare is a 33 year old lady. She is finished fourth and trained as a biomedical technician. She also has a higher diploma in psychological counseling. Cornila is the secretary of shiners women group and gives voluntary service for the time being. She is a very strict person and human at the same time. She is reliable, dependable and keen.
Nancy Aoko - Assistant
Nancy is an 18 year old girl. She dropped out of school in form 2 due to lack of school fees. She performed averagely. She is a single parent. She is polite and does her work well, though takes her time. Nancy is very tidy and clean. She is an obedient girl and loves her work. She works as an assistant at the shinners centre.
Ruth Atieno - Assistant
Ruth is a 42 year old widow. She reached form four where she performed averagely. She worked with the ministry of lands, where she lost her job due to retrenchment. She lives in Kondele with a cousin. She is industrious and works without supervision She is neat, but strict. Margaret likes laughing and works well with the kids. She is an assistant at the centre.
Ian Davod Ogoye - Teacher & Community Worker
Ian is a 31 year old man. He finished form four where he performed averagely. He has a diploma in community development and has worked in various fields and projects. Ian works well with the youth. He is creative and a hard worker. He is obedient and smiles a lot. He loves the kids and you will never miss an opportunity to see him carrying a child. He is our teacher but doubles up a field worker too.
Veronica Ndolo - Teacher
Veronica is a 31 year old woman. She finished fourth form and is a trained kindergarten school teacher. She is hard working and takes care of the kids like her own. She is very strict at the same time, especially with children who do not follow instructions. Veronica is a person living with HIV/ aids. She has accepted and talks about it freely. She talks to the young people, advices and encourages those living with it. She loves her work and keeps her time well. She is a teacher at shinners centre
